Fused Deposition Modeling

To build up 3D FDM parts, prefabricated filaments made from thermoplastic materials are processed layer wise by means of a heated nozzle. These parts are loadable and can be used for functional tests. They show a layered surface structure caused by the extrusion. This technique is mainly used for thick-walled geometries.
