CP Customer’s Day
On our last customer’s day numerous customers followed our invitation and took a look “back-stage” to learn about praxis and theory of making prototypes and pre- and small series. Our team presented all techniques, machines and manual steps of production, showed possibilities and limits. Prof. Dr. Andreas Gebhardt – the author of numerous books on additive manufacturing – offered parallel lectures.
Our guests informed themselves firsthand about how to realize their demands on models, small series and spare parts in economically attractive and maybe new ways.
Additionally, supported by the University of Applied Sciences Aachen we presented high precise parts additively made by Selective Laser Melting (SLM) from different metals. Also, new materials such as lasersintering of silver were shown. CP and the University of Applied Sciences Aachen work intensively together on the field of evaluating and testing new developments in additive manufacturing.
